Tarlac State University officially assumed leadership positions for DC SUC III and CIRPS through a ceremonial turnover held during its year-end gathering this afternoon (December 17) at Hotel Seoul in Clark, Pampanga.
The Development Council of State Universities and Colleges Region III (DC-SUC III) Chairmanship was formally handed to TSU President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco, while Dr. Brendalyn A. Manzano will serve as the Center for Interinstitutional Research and Policy Studies (CIRPS) Executive Director. Both will start their term effective January 1, 2026.
Through its DC SUC III/CIRPS leadership, TSU commits to advancing inter-SUC collaboration and research in Central Luzon.
“The entire TSU community accepts this responsibility with humility and confidence and will work collectively to advance the Center’s mission with purpose, integrity, and excellence,” Pres. Velasco said.
With the support of the TSU community and its partner SUCs, the university looks forward to leading DC SUC III/CIRPS initiatives that promote collaboration, research excellence, and development in Central Luzon.
As part of the transition, TSU was designated as the CIRPS satellite office for Region III for the term January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027.
The CIRPS Management Team is composed of Dr. Manzano as the Executive Director, Mr. Marco Polo M. Flores as the Assistant Technical Staff, Ms. Liana Faith Q. De Leon as Secretary, and Mr. Lander Alexis B. Bulaon as Treasurer.
