Tarlac State University's Career Fair 2022 kicked off with an opening program earlier today (September 13, 2022) at the TSU Gymnasium.

This annual activity establishes linkages to different industries creating employment opportunities for graduating TSU students and alumni.

Themed "Point Your Search in the Right Direction: TSUians Career Ready," this hybrid two-day event has been organized by the Career Education and Job Placement Services led by Dr. Niña C. Garcia in collaboration with DOLE-Tarlac (Department of Labor and Employment) and PESO-Tarlac (Public Employment Service Office).

Nearby industry partners graced the first day of the activity, while the second day will be held online for companies who cannot join onsite.

University President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco expressed his gratitude to the industry partners for their participation as well as the students' enthusiasm to join the workforce.

"We organized this event to be an opportunity for you [to land] your desired job. We are confident that you have the potential skills na makikita ng ating mga esteemed companies that are here with us this morning. This is our desire – to hone them to be ready for the job that they are supposed to be applying [for] this morning. And we can assure you, sa ating mga companies that are here with us, that you will not regret accepting our graduates. To our applicants, be confident. Ipakita natin kung gaano ka-competent ang TSU graduates,” Pres. Velasco said.

Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Agnes M. Macaraeg and Student Welfare Services Unit Head Dr. Grace Anne C. Hasegawa seconded Pres. Velasco's remarks about the conduct of the event.
