Again, Tarlac State University garnered international recognition after being rated by the Quacquarelli Symonds Intelligence Unit as a Three Stars institution per the results sent via email today, September 14.

Again, Tarlac State University garnered international recognition after being rated by the Quacquarelli Symonds Intelligence Unit as a Three Stars institution per the results sent via email today, September 14.

The university scored highest with five stars in the categories Academic Development and Social Responsibility, followed by four stars in Teaching and Facilities.

Preparations started in 2021 through the Quality Assurance Office - International Accreditation Unit. This is the university's first venture in this international rating endeavor.

QS Stars awards universities with a rating of between one and five plus stars, depending on their performance in at least seven categories. The QS Stars badges improve a university's international recognition and institutional reputation and profile by emphasizing its strengths and fields of expertise.

Moreover, it provides prospective students an additional tool when choosing a university, providing deeper insights into individual institutions.
