TSU and AACCUP concludes online program accreditation 3rd survey visit for MIT, MAN, BFA

The online program accreditation for three programs of Tarlac State University has been concluded earlier today (April 8, 2022) with accreditors from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities, Inc. (AACCUP).

The online program accreditation for three programs of Tarlac State University has been concluded earlier today (April 8, 2022) with accreditors from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities, Inc. (AACCUP).

The programs which underwent the 3rd survey visit are Master in Information Technology, Master of Arts in Nursing, and Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Advertising.

Overall coordinator Dr. Isidro L. Duran of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) conveyed their team’s collective impression in acronyms – DELTA for San Isidro programs (MIT, BFA) and OMICRON for the Lucinda program (MAN).

He shared that “DELTA” stands for dynamism, established, level-up, tangible, and accuracy; while “OMICRON” stands for outstanding, minimum, importance, commitment, redesigning, open-mindedness, and noteworthy.

In response, deans Dr. Alvincent E. Danganan of the College of Computer Studies, Ar. Garry M. Advento of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts, and Prof. Mary Jane N. Rigor of the College of Science expressed their message to commit to the recommendations for the enhancement and betterment of their programs.

This is the second batch of programs to undergo AACCUP’s new guidelines for Level 3 and 4 program accreditation which was implemented April 2021.

The first batch, also for the 3rd survey visit, is composed of the following programs: BA Communication, BS Criminology, BSBA Marketing Management, BS Accounting Technology, and BS Hotel and Restaurant Management. The online visit was held on February 16-18.
