TSU SOL organizes Kasalang Bayan for Aeta couples from Capas town

20 Aeta couples from Sitio Manibukyut in Brgy. Bueno, Capas town of Tarlac tied the knot in a mass civil wedding ceremony yesterday (February 28).

Dubbed the first "Kasalang Bayan," the mass civil wedding was organized by Tarlac State University's School of Law, headed by its dean Dr. Jose I. Dela Rama Jr., in partnership with the Office of the Municipal Civil Registrar, led by Atty. Marco Polo E. Cunanan, and the TSU SOL Alumni Association, Inc., with its president, Atty. Karen Cayetano-Tinoyan.

Officiating the wedding ceremony is Capas town mayor Atty. Roseller B. Rodriguez.

Moreover, the Rotary Club of Muntinlupa North, through the leadership of President Karen Camille Constiniano, served as one of the event's sponsors.

After the couples were officially recognized as husband and wife, a short program and reception were prepared by the locals and by the TSU SOL Dean’s Office, Student Council, and student volunteers.
