Tarlac State University was awarded by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office III earlier this afternoon (May 31) for its prompt submission of accurate and complete liquidation reports.
Said award is congruent with CHED's mission of elevating higher education standards through transparency and accountability.
"This institution's consistent submission of complete and well-prepared documents demonstrate adherence to quality standards befitting of a higher education institution," the certificate further stated.
Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Agnes M. Macaraeg and Vice President for Administration Dr. Grace N. Rosete received the award on behalf of TSU.
In a message, VP Macaraeg congratulated the university's Administrative Council and staff.
"Congratulations, TSU! We owe this to everyone from the Administrative Council [and] to our staff. Let us continue being reliable and dependable," she said.
The awarding ceremony held in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga is part of the 29th CHED Founding Anniversary celebration.
