TSU ME Grad ranks 6th in RME boards

Tarlac State University alumnus Engr. Benigno P. Yebes was named as top 6 in the April 2022 Registered Master Electrician (RME) Licensure Examination with a rating of 89% as per the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) earlier today (May 5, 2022) via their website.

Tarlac State University alumnus Engr. Benigno P. Yebes was named as top 6 in the April 2022 Registered Master Electrician (RME) Licensure Examination with a rating of 89% as per the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) earlier today (May 5, 2022) via their website.  

Engr. Yebes graduated with a degree in BS Mechanical Engineering on April 2006 and passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination in October of the same year. 

In 2019, he is also one of the invited guests by the Mechanical Engineering department to conduct a seminar on engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) as a way to motivate and inspire engineering students to work hard and give a glimpse of a possible future in the industry. 

Along with Yebes, TSU has produced 39 new Registered Electrical Engineers (REE) and 21 RMEs in the said board exams. 

The university garnered a rating of 76% for its first time takers with an institutional passing rate of 68.42% for REE. 

Meanwhile, TSU received a 76% passing rate for its first time takers in RME with an institutional passing percentage of 73.33%. 

These are above the national passing rates of REE with 54.21% and RME with 46.26%.
