Tarlac State University's Arnis Team bagged the overall champion in the recently concluded 2nd Philippine Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation (PEKAF) Region 3 Arnis Championship last October 23, 2022, at Robinsons Place in Angeles City, Pampanga.
The team brought home a total of 52 medals, with 36 gold, eight silver, and eight bronze.
Coaches Mr. Joshua Ysmael Fontanilla and Mr. Joseph Melegrito accompanied the delegation of 22 student-athletes from different colleges.
Meanwhile, the team thanked Sports Development and Management Unit head Dr. Ligaya S. Salangsang, who supported the student-athletes by providing for their needs for the said tournament.
