Out of 12 finalists, Tarlac State University, through the Extension Services Management Office, emerged as one of the five winners in the Government Best Practice Recognition 2021 of the Development Academy of the Philippines.

The university’s submitted best practice for this year is the Project Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting System (PMERS) for Extension Project Information and Documentation which was developed by the Management Information Systems Office in partnership with the ESMO.

The PMERS is web-based system which efficiently manages extension information and provides authorized users web-based access to extension information and documentation.

This also allows the ESMO to monitor ongoing and completed projects, administer client evaluation, and obtain summaries towards the convenient generation of real-time reports.

The presentation of projects was held earlier today (December 9) via Google Meet and YouTube live stream. Towards the end of the program, the panel of judges notified the winning projects to attend the virtual awarding on December 17, 2021.

The GBPR is an annual activity of DAP to promote, showcase and share outstanding and innovative practices demonstrated by the public sector organizations. It aims to foster knowledge sharing innovations that have been proven effective and helpful in improving organizational productivity and performance in the public sector.
