TSU produces 607 new LPTs

A total of 607 TSUians passed the September 2019 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) giving the university overall passing percentages of 44.21 for the LET-Elementary and 42.08 for the LET-Secondary. 182 first takers of the elementary level passed the said board exam garnering 67.16% while the secondary level first-time takers who passed totaled 405 with 53.78% passing. 31.34% and 39.69% are the registered overall national passing rates for both elementary and secondary levels, respectively. Last June 19, 2019, the University conferred the bachelor’s degrees of 979 graduates from the College of Teacher Education (CTE) which produced 126 honor graduates. The CTE has the largest number of graduates and honor recipients in the 30th Commencement Exercises.
