The Tarlac State University Hotel, announces an employment opportunity for One (1) Contractual Administrative Aide VI (Clerk III), SG 6 with the following qualifications:

  • BS Hotel & Restaurant Management graduate
  • With one year hotel experience
  • With pleasing personality and of good moral character

Terms of Reference

  1. Register guests and assigns rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
  2. Assists in preregistration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
  3. Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms, presents options and alternatives to guest and offers assistance in making choices.
  4. Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping staff and requests for maintenance and repair work.
  5. Maintains guest room key storage, and access to safe deposit boxes.
  6. Keeps tracks of guest accounts, process guest check-outs, and performs cashier related functions.
  7. Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.
  8. Knows all safety and emergency procedures, and awareness of accident prevention policies.
  9. Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.
  10. Performs other related duties as maybe assigned by the immediate supervisor.
