Tarlac State University was recognized by the Department of Education Tarlac City Schools Division (DepEd TCSD) as one of its stakeholders during the 2022 Education Week celebration earlier today (December 15) at the Kaisa Hall in Tarlac City.

The university has been a partner of the DepEd TCSD in its various programs and projects and school physical facilities development, particularly in the donation of office and school equipment and learning materials, as stated in Division Memorandum No. 207, s. 2022.

TSU President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco and Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Grace N. Rosete received the plaque of recognition on behalf of the university.

They also received individual certificates of recognition as representatives of TSU.

The awarding of stakeholders during the Education Week celebration is a means to "strengthen cooperation among stakeholders in education to support the necessary and significant changes to achieve quality and relevant education."

TSU is part of the 28 stakeholder awardees of the DepEd TCSD for this year.
