Objectives

The College of Technology aims to:

  1. develop quality skilled technicians and professional technologists as agents in attaining the national objectives (NIC-hood status);
  2. elevate the morale of manual labor by educating the youth with quality technological education and skills development;
  3. prepare entrepreneurs who posses desirable work attitudes leading to the attainment of high productivity to carry on the socio economic thrust of the government; and
  4. equip the youth with knowledge and skills necessary for technical instruction and industrial management.

 Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Technology (BSNFT)

The Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Technology studies all aspects of food preparation, food analysis, food processing, culinary arts, and meal management. It is designed to provide training on theoretical and practical aspects and study new areas of technology present in the food industry today.


 Bachelor of Industrial Technology Major in Automotive Technology (BIT – Auto)

The Bachelor of Industrial Technology Major in Automotive Technology, a four-year ladderized program, covers the use of hand tools and equipment, the theory, construction, inspection, diagnosis, and engine repair of internal combustion engines, principles of operation, types and diagnosis/repair of suspension and steering systems, the principles of operation and types, diagnosis, service and repair of brake systems, automotive electrical theory, wiring diagrams, test equipment, and diagnosis/repair of automotive electrical components, car painting, welding, basic driving and automotive trouble shooting.


 Bachelor of Industrial Technology Major in Electrical Technology (BIT – ET)

The Bachelor of Industrial Technology Major in Electrical Technology, a four-year ladderized program, is designed to provide training in basic theories, principles, practice, and understanding of electrical safety theory and application, schematic diagram, National Electrical Code, and electric motor control.


 Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Major in Mechatronics (BSIT – Mecha)

The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Major in Mechatronics focuses on the integration of electronics, electrical, and use of programmable logic controller and microcontroller technology with pneumatics and industrial hydraulics systems.


 Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Major in Electronics and Information Technology (BSIT – EIT)

The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Major in Electronics and Information Technology is designed to provide training in AC/DC circuit, computer hardware, electronic/electrical appliance servicing, digital technique and electropneumatics, and hydraulics with programmable logic controller.
